I feel very happy, lucky and deeply grateful to have made the choice to join this magnificent journey with Pachamama Journeys and with Susannah and Ya'Acov Darling Khan from the School of Movement Medicine. I felt extremely well taken care of throughout the journey on a practical level and on a spiritual level. The group was also amazing and I enjoyed so much the joint adventure! So much laughter, care and support! My heartbeat has a new spring!
I also want to express my deep gratitude and respect for the warm welcome and trust we received from the Sapara and Achuar communities and elders we visited and their generosity in sharing ancient wisdom with us, supporting us to remember and connect to our souls dreaming, our connection to the living earth, and our belonging to all beings. Alongside Susannah and Ya'Aacov and the two remarkable assistants Kaya and Anja, they were helping us to heal and make space for what is ready to emerge. Not new, but ancient, and alive.
The practical exclusion of WIFI, emails, social media, phone calls etc also allowed for empty space to be infused with remembrance of belonging, nowhere else to be, the mind calm, the being strengthened by the infusion of the forest's many songs and oxygen, the luxuriating in the reciprocity of breathing together.
My personal experience was one of dismantling a brittle "coverture", or being dismantled, to discover or reconnect to a deeper truth, letting go of unhealthy burdens, finding forgiveness, insights, trust and tenderness in this loving process. Some of it did not feel new in a way but brought to light in a felt sense like I have not yet experienced before. I am delighted!
Big thank you also to my husband’s huge support and his trust and also my sons. I wish we can join altogether one day.
I am a proud ally of the Fundacion Pachamama and the School of Movement Medicine.
Thank you Arutam, thank you magnificence of life, thank you all,
In reverence and love Johanna
