This was the most incredible journey of a lifetime. So privileged to spend time with the Sapara and Achuar Indigenous people, to share their daily life and to be made so welcome by them. Our Guide Juan Carlos was amazing - so knowledgable and patient. The numerous ceremonies we experienced, tobacco, cleansing, meeting the Grandfather tree, calling the River Spirits, Bathing under the Sacred Waterfall, sharing dreamtime, drinking Guyausa and taking Ayahuasca were spiritual experiences and will remain in my heart for ever. Canoe trips down the river seeing river dolphins and so many birds was wonderful. Kapawi Lodge was very comfortable. The staff were professional and the food was superb with a special taditional dinner on our last night. Chumpi and Simone were wonderful guides sharing with us their knowledge of the rainforest and much more. We gained an understanding of the threats that are facing and surrounding them from big corporations who want to plunder Mother Earth for thier own gain and we must stand by and support these people to protect their way of life and the future of our Planet. Before and after being in the Rainforest we stayed at beautiful hotels, Sierra Alisos, El Jardin in Puyo, Thermal Springs of Papallacta and the beautiful Cultura Manor in Quito. This is a profoundly deep and meaningful journey; one which will stay with me for ever and one I would recommend to anyone who is seeking a deeper understanding and connection with Mother Earth.

It was an amazing, wonderful journey, one of the most wonderful and impressive journeys in my life. Everything was very well organised, I felt save and comfortable all the time. I fell in love with the Amazon Rainforest, our tour guides and the amazing people living there. Thank you very much!

This was an amazing trip. It’s not for the faint of heart. The Jungle environment being both physically and mentally challenging at times allowed me to be fully immersed and vulnerable to the beauty that surrounded me and within. I am forever grateful for this experience.

We had a very enriching experience. Met some new friends, learned about the indigenous people and had a truly unique immersive experience in the Amazon forest. The organization was excellent and the guide was exceptional. Very grateful for this once in a lifetime experience.
